Day Two: FAMOUS DRUM BEATS/FAMOUS DRUMMERS

Day Three: PLAYING SONGS AND SOLOS

Day Four: MORE DRUM SOLOS and PERFORMANCE

Registration:

Registration is now open! Day One: 

DRUMMING BASICS animal19

-How to Hold Drumsticks

>You don’t just grab the sticks and start jamming!   You must learn how to get a good grip on those sticks so that you won’t be working too hard to play all of those wonderful drum beats and licks that you want to play!

-How to Play a Drum Roll

>It looks hard to do…It sounds tough to do…but in reality, playing a drum roll is one of the easiest things that there is to do on the drums once you know a few simple details!  LET’S GET STARTED!!!

-How to Read Music

>You may think that reading music is difficult or not even necessary but once we show you a couple things here about reading music, you’ll be glad that you did!  Reading music is easy and it makes learning drum beats much easier!

-How to Play a Drum Beat

>Once you know how to hold your drum sticks correctly and know how to read music and play a few basic hand patterns, playing a drum beat will become like second nature!  You’ll be playing drum beats on DAY ONE!!!

-Simple Hand Drumming

>Learn some simple hand drumming patterns that will allow you to play those bongos or djembe that you may have laying around the house.  Learn how to  play hand drums along with other musicians!

Day Two:

Learn some of the most famous drum beats of all time!  A must for anyone who wants to play in a garage band or have more fun playing on their own!  Learn about the drummers who help make the drumming world as great and fun as it is today!
